Age ranges are Little League’s official limits. Your local league board decides which ages go in which division, so a player who is eligible for two divisions plays where the league places them.
Pitch count limit
From Little League’s regular season pitching rules for baseball. Softball limits innings instead of pitches: up to 12 innings a day in the Minor and Major divisions, with a day of rest after 7 or more.
